This was another great week for insightful and fun blog posts. Here's a roundup of blog posts and news items we found most intriguing this week:
I've always been a fan of Dan Schawbel's personal branding blog. This week, guest blogger Lisa Orrell wrote a fantastic summary of what most people and businesses get wrong when it comes to social media (or social "me"dia, as she says :) )
Piggy-backing on the previous post about brands not investing enough time in social media, here's a great roundup from Mashable on free services to pre schedule your tweets. There - now you don't have an excuse ;)
Just becausethe technology has been around, doesn't mean you've perfected the art. Here's a great short list of email best practices.
Google's New Approach to Working With Advertising Agencies:
Google is raising the bar on company Google Adwords Certification. We're very proud to already hold the current Google Adwords Company certification and look forward to obtaining the new certification in the near future.
This was follow up to another great post by Rand Fishkin on common problems faced by SEOs and online tools to solve them.
I've only had limited time with an iPad, but my money says it's gonna be a big winner. Personally, I can't wait to pick up my own (but I'm such a 2nd generation guy I'll have to wait until next year!). I wrote a thorough post last week on how the iPad's (and iPhone and iPod's) new advertising platform could be a winner, but this post shows some strong evidence for the device being a winner all around.
