Morganne is a former English teacher who found herself in digital marketing and account management by way of a few Richmond startups. Driven by curiosity and the value of lifelong learning, Morganne enjoyed the fast-paced startup environment, but always found herself more interested in the well-being of her colleagues and the relationship between the company and its employees. She now supports WebStrategies’ hiring efforts, employee experience, and company culture as the Director of People Operations.
Morganne graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in English, William and Mary with an M.A. in Education, and VCU with an M.A. in English. She is a Society of Human Resources Certified Professional and a passionate volunteer for and advocate of the CARITAS Works Program. She believes everyone deserves a work experience that improves their financial, mental, and social well-being.
When she’s not chasing her two toddlers, Morganne enjoys reading nonfiction, re-reading Harry Potter and other American classics, yoga, decorating with color, beach trips with friends and family, and drinking coffee in peace.
