Born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, Layne moved to Richmond in 2007 to work for the Virginia State Senate. It was here that she honed her skills in customer service, teamwork, and creating relationships rooted in mutual respect and accountability. This has transitioned into over a decade of experience managing accounts that run the spectrum from the Fortune Top 20 to start-ups with the same value system.
The pace of change in the digital world is astounding. But no matter how fast the change, the goal of a marketing manager is still the same: to market products and services to customers in the most efficient and reliable way, distilling the complicated into the simple. Layne enjoys working with clients to develop strategies that make that happen.
Layne holds a B.A. in Communication and International Studies from Wake Forest University and an M.S. in Advertising, Communication Strategy from the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and shih tzu, Millie. Her hobbies include traveling, getting outdoors with her family, and sampling the many local breweries.
