Syd was born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and came to the US to play college basketball. He has a Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Liberty University.
After college, Syd played professional basketball in Italy, the Netherlands and Japan, worked in the oil/gas software industry and served in the US Navy before he moved back to Amsterdam. It was there where he started his career in digital marketing, web design and SEO.
In his work he always likes to think outside of the box and be an innovative, creative problem solver that listens before he speaks.
Syd is passionate about technology and design, and loves to approach everything from a psychological and philosophical perspective. In his spare time, he likes to play basketball, online chess and build action figures. Yes, action figures.
Syd currently lives in Jackson, Mississippi with his wife and daughter.
