My love of marketing started while I was pursuing my Bachelors for Business Administration at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I was working for a marketing company as a brand educator. I was responsible for educating consumers on new brand launches as well as letting consumers try different products so I could record their feedback. I loved this role so much that after I graduated I decided to keep working at the company but to transfer to Richmond, VA.
While looking for a career here in Richmond, I knew I wanted to continue to work in marketing and advertising. I soon found a job at a local digital marketing agency as an Account Manager. I enjoyed connecting with my clients and helping their businesses grow through paid advertising and search engine optimization. My client book ranged from pool installation companies to dentists, and the best feeling was having calls with my clients to hear about how the previous month was one of their most successful, because of the efforts of our team.
When I am not in the office you can find me wrist deep in soil planting flowers or vegetables, binge watching the latest streaming series with my two cats GG and Kraig, or attending a hot yoga class! I love spending my weekends exploring Richmond, from admiring local street art and musicians to checking out the newest restaurant or brewery. One thing I have learned and love about Richmond so much is there is always something to do.
