Owners wanted to present themselves in a more professional and high-end manner. They also wanted to showcase their work, and especially their wedding photos, in a way potential and current customers could easily scan through a gallery.

Opportunities/Challenges/Problems

Their previous website did not effectively present them in a credible way and didn’t really showcase the quality of their work. It was difficult for current wedding couples and prospective customers to see any reasonable samples of their work, with the exception of a few pictures scattered through the site. To achieve their objectives, it was important to add some flair to the site, build galleries that were easy to scan through, and provide an ability for wedding couples, their friends and families to easily find the photos they were seeking.

What WSI-WebStrategies Did

  • Created a professional website that presented the company in a quality way..
  • Incorporated some flash technology on the home page to present a higher image.
  • Created a hierarchy of photo galleries first separated by Weddings, Fashion and Published. Then, created sub-galleries within the Wedding section featuring specific couples on their wedding day.
  • Integrated an Online Proofing feature linked from the wedding galleries, which allows customers to log in and view their proofs online.
  • Created a very user-friendly Testimonials section as a way for prospective customers to read what others have said about the quality of their work.
